【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportprovidesguidanceontheuseofAdawhenproducinghighintegritysystems.Inproducingsuchapplicationsitisusuallythecasethatadherencetoguidelinesorstandardshastobedemonstratedtoindependentbodies.Theseguidelinesorstandardsvaryaccordingtotheapplicationarea,industrialsectorornatureoftheriskinvolved.Forsafetyapplications,theinternationalgenericstandardis[IEC61508]ofwhichpart3isconcernedwithsoftware.Forsecuritysystems,themulti-nationalgenericassessmentguideis[ISOCD15408].Forsector-specificguidanceandstandardsthereare:Airbornecivilavionics:[DO-178B]Nuclearpowerplants:[IEC880]Medicalsystems:[IEC601-4]Pharmaceutical:[GAMP]Fornational/regionalguidanceandstandardstherearethefollowing:UKDefence:[DS00-55]Europeanrail:[EN50128]Europeansecurity:[ITSEC]USnuclear:[NRC]UKautomotive:[MISRA]USmedical:[FDA]USspace:[NASA]TheabovestandardsandguidesarereferredtoasStandardsinthisTechnicalReport.TheabovelistisnotexhaustivebutindicativeofthetypeofStandardtowhichthisTechnicalReportprovidesguidance.ThespecificStandardsabovearenotaddressedindividuallybutthisTechnicalReportissynthesizedfromananalysisoftheirrequirementsandrecommendations.1WithinthescopeThisTechnicalReportassumesthatasystemisbeingdevelopedinAdatomeetastandardlistedaboveoroneofasimilarnature.TheprimarygoalofthisTechnicalReportistotranslategeneralrequirementsintoAdaspecificones.Forexample,ageneralstandardmightrequirethatdynamictestingprovidesevidenceoftheexecutionofallthestatementsinthecodeoftheapplication.Inthecaseofgenerics,thisisinterpretedbythisTechnicalReporttomeanallinstantiationsofthegenericshouldbeexecuted.ThisTechnicalReportisintendedtoprovideguidanceonly,andhencethereareno'shalls'.However,thisTechnicalReportidentifiesverificationandvalidationissueswhichshouldberesolvedanddocumentedaccordingtothesector-specificstandardsbeingemployed.ThefollowingtopicsarewithinthescopeofthisTechnicalReport:·thechoiceoffeaturesofthelanguagewhichaidverificationandcompliancetothestandards,·identificationoflanguagefeaturesrequiringadditionalverificationsteps,·theuseoftoolstoaiddesignandverification,·issuesconcerningqualificationofcompilersforuseonhighintegrityapplications,·tools,suchasgraphicdesigntools,whichgenerateAdasourcecodewhichisaccessibletousers.ToolswhichgenerateAdasourcecoderequirespecialconsideration.Wheregeneratedcodemaybemodifiedorextended,verificationoftheextensionsandoverallsystemwillbeassistediftheguidelineshavebeentakenintoaccount.Evenwheremodificationisnotplanned,inspectionandanalysisofthegeneratedcodemaybeunavoidableunlessthegeneratoristrustedor'qualified'accordingtoanapplicablestandard.Finally,evenifgeneratedcodeisneithermodifiednorinspected,theoverallverificationprocessmaybemademorecomplicatedifthecodedeviatesfromguidelinesintendedtofacilitatetestingandanalysis.PotentialusersofsuchtoolsshouldevaluatetheircodegenerationagainsttheguidanceprovidedinthisTechnicalReport.2OutofscopeThefollowingtopicsareconsideredtobeoutofscopewithrespecttothisTechnicalReport:·Domain-specificstandards,·Application-specificissues,·Hardwareandsystem-specificissues,·Humanfactorissuesintheapplication(asopposedtohumanfactorsintheuseoftheAdalanguagewhichisinscope).
