【摘要】:Pencilhardnessmeasurementshavebeenusedbythecoatingsindustryformanyyearstodeterminethehardnessofclearandpigmentedorganiccoatingfilms.Thistestmethodhasalsobeenusedtodeterminethecureofthesecoatings,especiallywhenforceddriedusingheat.Thistestmethodisespeciallyusefulindevelopmentalworkandinproductioncontroltestinginasinglelaboratory.Itshouldberecognizedthattheresultsobtainedmayvarybetweendifferentlaboratorieswhendifferentpencilsaswellaspanelsareused.Everyeffortshouldbemadetostandardizethehardnessoftheleadusedandthetechniquefollowed.Ifthistestmethodisusedasabasisforpurchaseagreement,maximumprecisionwillbeachievedifagivensetofrefereepencilsbeagreeduponbetweenthepurchaserandtheseller.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforrapid,inexpensivedeterminationofthefilmhardnessofanorganiccoatingonasubstrateintermsofdrawingleadsorpencilleadsofknownhardness.1.2Thistestmethodissimilarincontent(butnottechnicallyequivalent)toISO15184.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
