【摘要】:ThisSAERecommendedPracticeestablishesthetestprocedure,environment,andinstrumentationtobeusedformeasuringtheexteriorexhaustsoundlevelforpassengercars,multipurposevehicles,andlighttrucksunderstationaryconditionsprovidingacontinuousmeasureofexhaustsystemsoundleveloverarangeofenginespeeds.Thissoundlevelmeasurementprocedurehasbeendevelopedforuseinengineeringevaluationofthesoundlevelperformanceofpassengercarandlighttruckexhaustsystems.Itprovidesthemeansfordetectingexhaustsystemresonanceswiththepotentialtoaffectbothexteriorandinteriorsoundquality.ThisdocumentincorporatescertainprovisionsofISO5130-1982-02-15,formeasuringthesoundlevelofexhaustsystems.
