【摘要】:Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.Severalfire-test-responsecharacteristics,includingthetimetosustainedflaming,heatreleaserate,totalheatreleased,effectiveheatofcombustion,andspecificextinctionarea;aremeasuredorcalculatedbythistestmethodataconstantradiantheatingflux.Forspecificlimitationsseealso5.7andSection6.Thetestsareconductedbyburningtheelectricalinsulatingmaterialscontainedinelectricaloropticalfibercableswhenthecabletestspecimens,excludingaccessories,aresubjectedtoradiantheat.Thisstandardmeasuresanddescribestheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,productsorassembliesunderactualfireconditions.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityorregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection7.
