【摘要】:ProductdefinitionThisspecificationcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementsofafullyinstalledspliceclosureinorderforittobecategorisedasanENstandardproduct.OperatingenvironmentThetestsselected,combinedwiththeseverityandduration,arerepresentativeofanoutsideplantforsubterraneanand/oraerialenvironmentsdefinedby:ETS300019class8.1:undergroundlocations(withoutearthquakerequirement)IEC61753-1categoryS:subterraneanenvironmentcategoryA:aerialenvironmentReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.AllowedfibreandcabletypesAlthoughtheperformancetestsarecarriedoutontestsampleswithdispersionunshiftedfibre(seeAnnexA),theclosure,oncetestedaccordingtothisproductspecification,willbealsosuitedforotherfibretypeslikedispersionshifted,non-zerodispersionshiftedandmulti-modefibresThisclosurestandardallowsbothsinglemodeandmultimodefibretobeusedandcoversallIECstandardopticalfibrecableswiththeirvariousfibrecapacities,typesanddesigns.Thisincludes,butisnotlimitedto,opticalfibrecablestandardsIEC60794-2(indoor),IEC60794-3(outdoor).
